She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Cleveland Leonard and Ethel Mildred Hull Leonard. She is survived by: her husband Rodney D. Chupp, Sr.; her children, Emilie Schechtman and Rodney D. Chupp, Jr.; her granddaughter Kendall Schechtman; and her sisters, Kathy Gracey and Judy Shirley.
When COVID came, she and Rod traded the Florida sun for the mountains of Hayesville, North Carolina — and she made a home there too, because that was just what she did.
