He is survived by: his wife Doris Taylor of Hayesville; his children, Michael Taylor (Kristin) of Lexington, Kentucky and Angela Carr of Brasstown, NC; his godson Mark Mercer (Corrie) of Hopkinton, Massachusetts; his siblings, Arvine Taylor of Newport, Zan Taylor (Shawna) of Newport, Nettie Zimmer of White Pine, Brenda Lane of Newport and Emma Reece of Talbot; his granddaughter LaShea Carr; and his great grandchildren, Lariah Carr and Layla Ledbetter.
