She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas R. Zappacosta Sr. and Carmela Lanzillotti Zappacosta; her husband William "Bill" Charles Thomas; and her brother Thomas "Tommy" R. Zappacosta. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Thomas (Jamie) of Hayesville, NC and Marc Thomas of Palm Coast, Florida; her sister Lucia Kelleher; her sister-in-law Penny Zappacosta of Wilmington, Delaware; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Colton, Allison, Alexis, Diana and Leah Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
