It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Dale Stewart of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Arthur and Ruth Hedden Stewart; his daughter Michelle Stewart Ledford; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Stewart; his sons, John Dale Stewart, Jr. (Tracie) of Greenville and Thomas Walter Stewart of Hayesville; his grandchildren, Nicholas Craig Ledford (Anissa) of Hiawassee, Candice Blakeslee of Lakeland and Tabitha Brook Moore of Hiawassee, Georgia.; and his cousin Jean Sparks Twiggs.
