It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katie Jo Odom (Hayesville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 27, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel D. Whitley and Rebecca Daniel Whitley; and her husband Harry Odom. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Vanderhoff, Connie Shepherd and Charles Cunningham; and her siblings, Helen Spivey, Rachel Whitley and Sam Whitley, Jr.. She is also survived by two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
