With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Monkus of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Arvil Monkus and Ruby Canup Monkus. He is survived by : his wife June; his children, Christopher Monkus and Selena Rogers (Chris); his grandchildren, Toby Monkus, Emily Shook, Melynne Rogers, Christopher Knight and Jerry Knight; and his siblings, Barbara Penland (Sid), Janice Fuller (David), Carol Arrowood, Sandy Fowler, Jerry Monkus (Carolyn) and Arnold Monkus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
