He was predeceased by: his father Anthony Vito Caivano Sr.; and his brother Anthony Vito Caivano Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Diane Westerman Caivano of Hayesville; and his siblings, Santo, Tracy Caivano of Raleigh, NC and Herty Guarin of Murphy, NC. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Michael's memory to either the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance (https://www.ncdsalliance.org) or the CMT Research Foundation (https://cmtrf.org), two organizations deeply focused on enhancing lives of those with disabilities.
