He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson and Lura Scoggins Wilson; and his siblings, Kenny Wilson, Jean Jones (Earl) and Jo Maner (Earl).
He is survived by: his wife Frances Burrell Wilson; his children, Robert Allen Wilson (Kristie) of Elberton, GA, Matthew Tripplett (Lindsey) of Oxford, GA, Leigh Starrett (Kevin) of Elberton, GA and Lisa Manis (Ellis) of Auburn, GA; his grandchildren, Hannah McAvoy, Mekiah Martin, McKenzie Seymour, Emily Starrett, Jackson Lunsford and Madlynn Tripplett; and his great grandchildren, Elliana, Kenleigh, Charlie, Oakes and McAvoy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mission Hill Baptist Church (115 Mission Hill Rd, Hayesville, NC 28904). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
