Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leah H. Epperson (Beideman) and John B. Epperson Jr. (Don); his brother John; his son-in-law Frank Woodsby; and his stepson Steve Hough.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Woodsby of Florida, John of Florida and Wayne of Florida; and his spouse Shirley Johnson Hough.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (50 Marvin Cabe Ln, Hayesville, NC 28904).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Clay County Senior Center, 196 Ritter Road, Hayesville, NC 28904 or to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund in honor of Bob.
