He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Evans and Hazel Shields Evans; and his brother James H. Evans. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Pearson Evans; his sister Cathy Bradley (Bruce) of Hayesville; and his brothers-in-law, Bud Pearson (Juanita) of Loganville and Richard Pearson (Linda) of Griffin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
