He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Benjamin and Zoah Ann Hogsed Dailey; his wife Willa Mae Huscusson Dailey; his son-in-law Lowell Ledford; his grandson Timothy Jason Ledford; and his siblings, Mary Lou DeHart (Earl), Ella May McHan (Davis), Willie, Mary Louise Dailey, Arnold, Wilburn and James Dailey.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Dailey (Dolly), Nancy Anderson (Matthew) of Hayesville and Helen Dailey Ledford of Hayesville; his grandchildren, Rick, Brian Anderson, Jeff Ledford, Diana Dayton and Erik Dailey; his stepgrandchildren, Arica, Amber and Destiny Parker; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, Chelsea, Halle, Will, Amity, Adam, Mary Madelyn, Caleb and Teddi; his stepgreat-granddaughter Jaclyn; and his great great grandchildren, Cadence, Aspen, Blake and Sawyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial in memory of William H. "Bill" Dailey be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, in c/o Charles R. Parker, 796 Muskrat Creek Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.
