He was predeceased by: his mother Ila Claire Burchette; his children, Patty Burchette Holbrook and Linnie Ray Burchette; and his siblings, Mary Lee Felts, Gilbert Burchette and John Burchette.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Burchette Pearson (Jack) of Boomer and Danny Burchette (Mary Ann) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Ashley Pearson Davis (Anthony), Carmen Pearson McDaniels (Tommy), Jamie Daniel Burchette, Larry Wayne Holbrook and Gary Junior Holbrok; his great grandchildren, Cayleigh Grace Davis, Kaiden Jack Davis, Lilly Belle Cranfill (Justin) and Elina McDaniels; his great great grandchild Madelyn Rose Cranfill; and his brother Thelbert Burchette (Frances) of North Wilkesboro.
