He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose McLean and Lena Rupeard McLean; and his brothers, Carlos McLean and Bobby McLean. He is survived by: his wife Denise McLean of Hays; his sons, Brandon McLean (Crystal) of Hays and Lance McLean of Hays; his grandchildren, Savannah McLean of Asheville, Corbin McLean of Boone, Carter McLean of Hays, Kirsten McLean of Hays, Brayelynn Laws of Kings Mtn and Annleigh Laws of Kings Mtn; and his brothers, Buck McLean (Carolyn) of Banner Elk and Bruce McLean (Janet) of Banner Elk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (3656 Mountain View Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
