He is survived by: his father Steven Shumate (Libby) of North Wilkesboro; his fiancé Shea Nicole Roe; his children, NaKayla Shumate of Hays, Gavin Shumate of North Wilkesboro, Brody Shumate of North Wilkesboro, Tracy Shumate of North Wilkesboro and Devin Shumate of North Wilkesboro; and his sister Lisa Blevins of North Wilkesboro.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Covenant Baptist Church (207 Hawkins Hollow Rd, Hays, NC 28635). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
