With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Johnson Coffey of Hays, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Crom and Ennice Dowell Johnson; her husband Stanley Monroe Coffey; and her siblings, Vernon, Cline, Paul, Elton, Alvin Johnson and Ruth Mathis.

She is survived by : her daughters, Deborah Brown (Kenneth) of Hays, Sharon Kralick (Charles) of Red Oak and Lucille Kelly (Ronnie) of Hays. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Mountain Baptist Church, c/o Kim Williams, 388 Evergreen Lane, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.

The Lord was certainly gracious to give her such a long, wonderful life…what a privilege to have her with you for so May years. You are to be commended for giving her such tender care in these last moths…God is pleased. We are praying for God’s Holy Spirit to give you comfort and peace as only He can in these difficult days.”
