He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marshall and Mary Thelma Baity Brown; his wife Iris Dean Brown; and his siblings, Mary Carter and William Frank Brown, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Brown Carpenter (Don) of North Wilkesboro and Deborah Brown Kendall (Todd) of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Bo Kendall, Megan Adams (Brian), Casey Kendall, Marcy Bryan (Nathan) and Dakota Kendall Hatok; his great grandchildren, Sebastian Adams, Calia Kendall, McKinnley Bryan, Ian Hatok and Evelyn Adams; and his siblings, Geneva Reece of East Bend and Charles Brown (Ann) of Hays.
