James Ralph Harrold Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ralph Harrold of Hays, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Gilbert and Ora Huie Harrold; his son James Michael Harrold; and his siblings, Clementine "Clemmie" Harrold Williams and Billy Ray Harrold.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Sue Brown Harrold; his children, Kathy Hincher (Linney) of North Wilkesboro, Melissa Holbrook (Dan) of Hillsborough, Jeff Harrold (Tammy) of Traphill and David Harrold (Tressie Collins) of Low Gap; his aunt Rosalee Barnett of Winston Salem; his uncle Fred Huie of Winston Salem; and his sister-in-law Velma Eller of Hagerstown, Maryland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Maple Grove Baptist Church (1998 Traphill Rd, Hays, NC 28635). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
