It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie Lee Whitley of Hays, North Carolina, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Morgan Alexander and Alma Beatrice Watkins Billings; her daughter Marlene Denise Billings; and her brother Steve Billings. She is survived by : her sons, Jerry Whitley (Jennifer) of Hays and Randy Whitley (Sherry) of Hays; her grandchildren, Shane Billings (Misty) of Todd, Chris Whitley (Kendra) of Wilkesboro, Tad Whitley of Hays and Miranda Finger (Dakota) of Hays; her great grandchildren, Preston, Caleb, Logan, Grayson and Levi; and her sister Barbara Fralish of Greenville.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
