She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Davis and Martha Combs Davis; her former husband Simon Blevins; her husband Howard Laws; her daughters, Avelean Taylor and Melva Walker; her brothers, Everette Davis, Luther Davis and Cromie Davis; and her son-in-law Ray Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Lola Bell (Lee) of North Wilkesboro, Rosie Mae Shepherd (Lonnie) of Hays and Zerna Blevins (Karen) of North Wilkesboro; and her sons-in-law, John Taylor of McGrady and Reggie Walker of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
