He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert A. Adams and Pauline Shepherd Adams; and his brothers, Gilbert Michael Adams and Ricky Adams. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Adams; his sons, Andy Adams (Karri) of Hays and Tyler Adams (Kelsey) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Campbell Adams, Haedyn Adams, Gibb Adams, Dottie Rose Adams and Davie Adams; and his siblings, Carol Mitchell (Jerry) of Hays, Jane Myers (Bob) of Florida, Sandra Blackburn (Sammy) of North Wilkesboro and Steve Adams (Janice) of Myrtle Beach.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (183 Rock Quarry Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
Memorials may be made to North Wilkes High School Athletic Club for a scholarship in memory of Terry, 2986 Traphill Road, Hays, NC 28635.
