With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Oliver of Hemby Bridge, North Carolina, born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Oliver and Sallie Oliver; and his siblings, Bruce and Joyce Ritch. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Oliver; his daughters, Sherry and Amy Rorie (Chad); his siblings, Joanne Britt and Bobby Oliver; and his grandchildren, Casey Rowell, Shelby Rowell, Courtney Church (John), Brennan Rorie (Samantha), Savanna Rorie and Natalea Rorie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golden Acre Baptist Church and Harris Hospice at Novant Main Charlotte.
