He is survived by: his wife Kitty Lou Collier Hicks; his children, Robert Hicks (Stacy Hicks), Holly Hicks and Donald Hicks; his granddaughters, Victoria Hicks, Hannah Hicks, Marissa Hicks and Sallie Jean Hicks; and his sister Ruby Bruce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
