With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Titus Vaughan of Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas Vaughan and Lelia Belle Hight Vaughan; and his siblings, Lewis Vaughan, Gladys Vaughan, Elizabeth V. Andrews, Virginia V. Aycock, J. T. Vaughan Jr., Clara Dell V. Ramsey, Mavis V. Flemming and Faye V. Breedlove.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret N. Vaughan; his daughters, Donna V. Salmi (George) and Phyllis V. Mullins (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Chris Mullins, Scott Mullins, Dustin Moye (Eleanore), Chase Moye, Christina Bullock (Robert) and Alexis Nosti (Marc). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
