It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvis Eugene Harris Jr. of Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Eugene Harris, Sr. and Dorothy Barnett Harris; and his siblings, Alton, Jack, Chester, Lysander, Mary and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Alvis Harris, III, Joshua Harris, April Harris-Britt and Norita Harris; his grandchildren, Keiland Harris, Terrell Harris-Jackson, Omaya Harris, Jamie Britt, Patric Harris and Christian Harris; his great grandchildren, Aliyah Buedel, Kaiden Tapp, Nova Harris and Kamden Tapp; and his siblings, Annie Byrd, Eddie Stegall, Kenneth Harris and Thelbert Harris. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
