She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Morgan Beasley and William Barney Beasley; her brother Fred Beasley; and her grandson George Rose "Tripp" Watkins, III. She is survived by: her husband George Rose Watkins, Sr.; her great grandchildren, William Watkins "Watts" Dickerson and Emilia Rose "Millie" Dodge; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Smith Watkins and Jean Falkner Beasley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (222 Young St, Henderson, NC 27536).
