She was predeceased by: her parents, Murdock Newman and Edna Newman. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Mayes; her brother Jim Newman (Sandy); her children, Tommy Mayes (Katie), Judy Ayscue and John Mayes (Jolie); and her grandchildren, Thomas, Allie, Sydney, Parker, Jack and Bennett.
