He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Wynne Hilliard and Palmer Lee Hilliard; his son-in-law Charles A. Brown; and his siblings, Thurman Hilliard, Fred Hilliard, Rosa Hilliard, Elsie Hilliard and Alice H. Weaver.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa H. Brown of Henderson; his granddaughter Tiffany B. Denton (Johnny) of Henderson; and his siblings, Lawrence Hilliard of Henderson, Robert Hilliard (Betty) of Henderson, Ruby Cifers of Kittrell, Peggy Nickels (David) of Kittrell and Tom Hilliard (Diane) of Henderson.
