She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edgar Langston and Rosa Pergerson Langston; her husband Turner G. Stainback, Jr.; her son-in-law Don Davis; and her sister Rosa "Ree" Langston Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Thomas Stainback (Frances Finlen Stainback) of Birmingham, AL and Bonnie Rose Stainback Davis of Henderson; her grandchildren, Michael Turner Stainback (Kristen Ellington Stainback) of Roswell, GA, Sarah Stainback Oakes (James W. Oakes) of Helena, AL, Jason Grissom (Dana Hughes Grissom) of Nashville, TN, Chris Davis (Jaime Davis) of Wake Forest, Scott Davis (Swan Davis) of Denver, CO and Josh Davis (Ashley Davis) of Youngsville; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Stainback, Ellie Stainback, Turner Oakes, Will Davis, Harris Merkle, Quinn Merkle, Silas Hughes-Grissom, Joy Hughes-Grissom and Yates Davis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cokesbury Methodist Church (2440 S Cokesbury Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
