She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Dalton; and her brother Joseph Boyd Whitaker. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Wells (Charles), Greg Dalton and Matt Dalton (Claudia); her grandchildren, Amberle Clarke, Audrey Wells, Colby Wells (Bailey), Daniel Dalton, Nicolas Dalton and Emilia Dalton; her great grandchild Rosie Wells; her sister-in-law Doris Whitaker; and her friend Margie Marsh.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Elizabeth House, in gratitude for the compassionate care provided to Barbara and her loved ones.
