He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Aris "R. A." Bartholomew Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Ann Foster Bartholomew; his wife Pamela Miller Bartholomew; his aunt Uldine Foster Duckworth (Lewis); his cousin Fleet Crews; his godson Matthew Crane; his niece Annie Wittenberg; his mother-in-law Joyce Davis Miller; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Miller Eaton (Rick) and Debbie Miller Wittenberg; his nephews, Bill Eaton and John Wittenberg; and his niece Amy Eaton Suggs (George). He is also survived by the love of her life and gave her sisters, a brother, and another set of parents.
