He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Otho Hicks and Martha Jane Williford Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Kay Bowen Hicks; his sons, Benjamin A. Hicks (Ginger) and Douglas Mustian (Leigh); his grandchildren, Lilly Hicks, Chloe Hicks, Piper Hicks, Levi Hicks, Matthew Goodwin (Jen), Megan Long (Matt) and Jackson Mustian; his great grandchildren, Remington Ray and Brody Long; his sisters, Margaret Robinson and Betty Hicks Boyd; and his sister-in-law Vicky Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
