Beverly Joette Weaver Obituary

Beverly Joette Weaver, 65, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Joette is survived by her loving husband, Roy David Weaver; her children, Amanda Joy Brewer (BJ), Joshua David Weaver, and Abigail Dawn Wheeler (Nick); and her cherished grandchildren, Landon, Savannah (fiancé Lino Juarez), Makenzi, Zackery, Alana, and Madison.

She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Brenda JoAnn Jones and Ken Jones; her father, Jimmy Manning; her siblings, Scot Manning, Tim Manning, Jacinta Plaisance, and Rachel Jones; and her half-siblings, Matthew Manning, Mark Manning, and John Manning.

Joette also leaves behind numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Many of her nieces and nephews affectionately called her "Mama J," a name she carried with love and pride. Her love for family knew no boundaries. Whether related by blood or brought into her life through marriage, Joette welcomed and loved each one wholeheartedly. To her, family was never defined simply by a name or relationship, but by the love, kindness, and bonds shared with one another.

Joette was preceded in death by her siblings, Mike Manning and Samantha Content Jones; her half-brother, Luke Manning; and her beloved grandparents, John Sam and Lillian Leonard.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at South Henderson Church of God, located at 125 J P Taylor Road, Henderson, NC 27537.

A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at South Henderson Church of God, with Rev. Ken Jones and Roy Weaver officiating.

Following the Home Going Service, a private burial will take place at the home of Abigail and Nick Wheeler. The burial will be reserved for immediate and extended family only.
