She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Pegram Roberson and Jessie Raymond Roberson; and her husbands, Irvin Pruitt and Jimmy Travis. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Best of Roanoke Rapids and Hartwell Wayne Pruitt of Henderson; her sisters, Elaine Brame (Larry) of Henderson and Joyce Dickerson of Oxford; her nephews, Billy Dickerson (Jorie) and Charles "Chuck" Brame; her niece Michelle Brame; and her close friends, Peggy Hudson and Jerome Smith. She is also survived by four grandsons; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freedom Life Church of God (1001 Martin Creek Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
