She is survived by: her children, Darlene Best of Roanoke Rapids and Hartwell Wayne Pruitt of Henderson; her sisters, Elaine Brame (Larry) of Henderson and Joyce Dickerson of Oxford; her nephews, Billy Dickerson (Jorie) and Charles "Chuck" Brame; her niece Michelle Brame; and her close friends, Peggy Hudson and Jerome Smith. She is also survived by four grandsons; three great-grandchildren.
