It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd Richardson Jr. (Henderson, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Jeffrey Richardson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Karan Hamlet Richardson; his children, Angela R. Woodley (Don) of Indianapolis, IN, Jeremy Wayne Phelps (Julie) of Franklinton and Justin Hamlet Phelps (April) of Louisburg; his grandchildren, Jordan Moss (Marissa), Michaela Phelps, Lucas Lane and Jay Phelps; his great grandchildren, Maci Hunt and Mira Moss; and his brother Mark Richardson (Karen).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Methodist Church of Townsville (1725 Rock Spring Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tabernacle Methodist Church of Townsville Townsville, NC (1725 Rock Spring Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
