He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Edward Patterson and Mary Belle Patterson; and his siblings, Nora Short, Nellie Aycock, Sarah Patterson, Peggy Lassiter, Shirley Hanford, Billy Patterson, Glenn Patterson Sr., Perry Patterson, Linwood Patterson, Wayne Patterson and Jerry Patterson.
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn "Carol" Berger; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Patterson and Elaine Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home - Henderson (1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1238 New Bethel Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NC School for the Deaf or any charity of choice.
