He is survived by: his mother Hattie Evans Jefferson; his wife Martika Evans; his children, Bruce Brooks, Allen Brooks, Jeremy Brooks, Dashon Evans, Jodeci Brooks (Jameeka), Brandon Evans (Alexandria) and Taevon Evans; his stepchildren, Miyahkeisha Holden, Dimittryce Holden and Ja'mitryce Holden; his sister Arnetta Evans; his niece Marshanna Evans; and his nephews, Carlos Evans and Travion Jefferson. He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davis-Royster Funeral Service (926 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary United Holy Church.
