With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Stanton Parham (Henderson, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Hobgood Stanton and Henry Washington Stanton; her husband Bobby Poole Parham, Sr.; her grandson Alan S. Finlayson; and her siblings, Peggy Stanton, Bernice Overton, Bracey Stanton and Bernard Stanton.
She is survived by: her children, Donna P. Diemer of Henderson, Beverly Y. Colmant (Clay) of Henderson, Angela P. Hartwell (Richard) of Newland and Bobby P. Parham, Jr. of Henderson; her grandchildren, Kristina Hisey (Keith), Ariana Hartwell Boyd (Arizona) and Stanton Parham; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Molina, Gabriella Molina and Hunter Hisey.
