She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Gray and Alvina Burton Gray. She is survived by: her children, James Majette (Ta-Tanisha), Kimberly Macon Majette (Phil) and Jakita Majette; and her sister Fannie Baskett. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren.
