He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Bullock Anderson; his children, Jason Anderson, Charleston Anderson, Darrius Perry, Janice Allen, Shalonda Anderson Laster and Shakkyah Barksdale-Anderson; and his siblings, Barbara Banks, Shirley Anderson, Katherine Gray, Virginia Anderson, Dorothy Walker, Beulah Dibble, Sylvester Anderson, Roger Anderson, James Anderson and Robert Anderson. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
