With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarice Coghill Watkins of Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Pleasants Coghill and Clarence Fuller Coghill; her husband Durwood Thomas Watkins, Sr.; her children, Durwood T. "Tommy" Watkins, Jr. and Michelle Leigh Watkins; her sister Blanche Hunter Harper; and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Vaughn Watkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon W. Clark (Greg) of Henderson; her granddaughter Chastity N. Clark of Orlando, FL; and her brothers, Clarence F. "Sonny" Coghill (Patricia) of Henderson and Donald A. Coghill (Faye) of Henderson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fuller Chapel Christian Church at 1470 N. Lynnbank Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
