She was predeceased by : her parents, Patsy Jones Dunn and Preston Abbott Dunn. She is survived by : her husband William John "Billy" Batchelor; and her sister Michelle Dunn of Raleigh.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Blessed Hope Baptist Church (741 Dabney Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
