It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene O'Brien Hanford (Henderson, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Harold William O'Brien; her brother Lennie O'Brien; and her stepfather Robert "Bobby" H. Duncan. She is survived by: her mother Jean Puckett Duncan of Oxford; her husband Robert "Robbie" Alton Hanford, Jr.; her children, Robin Hanford of Henderson, Tara Journigan of Henderson, Rilynne Abbott of Henderson and Brandon Hanford (Desiree) of Chester, VA; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Hanford, Jerimiah Hanford, Landon Hanford and Nora Hanford; and her siblings, Melinda Adcock of Oxford, Renee Emory of Creedmoor, Bobbi Gastler of Chesapeake, VA and Wayne O'Brien of Oxford.
