David William Powell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William Powell of Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore McDonald Powell and Elizabeth Ranes Powell; and his sister Betty Jean Powell Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Hollie Boger Powell; his daughters, Katherine Powell Simpson (Eric) and Elizabeth Powell Ennis (Joshua); and his grandchildren, William Weathers Simpson, Caroline Carlisle Simpson, Charlotte Elizabeth Ennis and James Hollie Ennis. He is also survived by Daddy to his daughters and Pops to his grandchildren.
