She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Marion Coghill and Mabel Ozell Perry Coghill; her husband Curtis Anderson Powell; her son Curtis A. Powell Jr.; her grandson Preston Powell; and her brothers, Thomas Coghill Jr., Bill Coghill and Tex Coghill.
She is survived by: her children, Heidi P. Hughes (Art), Jeffrey Scott Powell, Michael Rodney Powell and Robert Mitchell Powell (Sarah); her sister Frankie Readon; her grandchildren, Lauren Huff (Jeff), Bailey H. Dickens (Jonathan), Jeffrey Powell, Dustin Powell, Gavin Powell, Austin Powell and Hannah Morgan Powell; her great grandchildren, Harrison Hull, Molly Hull, Charley Grace Dickens, John Luke Dickens, McKayla West, Kinslee Powell and Salena Powell; and her great great grandchild Teagan West.
