With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jones McBride of Henderson, North Carolina, born in Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilly Wagner Jones and Dillon Jones; her husband John Thomas McBride; and her sister Peggy Jones of Wytheville, VA.. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly; her son-in-law Fred Spicer, Jr. of Highland Park, IL; and her sister-in-law Donese McBride. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
