She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Norwood Twisdale and Cephas Lee Twisdale, Sr.; her husband Boyd Richardson, Sr.; her son Jeffrey Richardson; and her siblings, Annie Mae Abbott, Cephas Lee Twisdale Jr., Norwood "Dick" Twisdale Sr., Macon N. Twisdale and James "Jimmy" Twisdale.
She is survived by: her sons, Boyd "Pete" Richardson Jr. (Karan) of Henderson and Mark Richardson (Karen) of Townsville; her grandchildren, Angela Woodley (Don), Jeffrey Richardson, Jr. (Kelly), Holden Kurwicki (Paige), Justin Phelps (April) and Jeremy Phelps (Julie); her great grandchildren, Cameron Kurwicki, McKenna Wyman (Caleb), Kennedy Covert, Preston Richardson, Michaela Phelps, Jay Phelps, Jordan Moss and Lucas Lane; her great great grandchild Lyla Wyman; her sister Linda Gill (Ricky) of Henderson; and her sister-in-law Betty Jo Twisdale of Henderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Methodist Church of Townsville (1725 Rock Spring Church Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
