Dorothy Abbott Seiple Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 17, 2023, at the age of 89, Dorothy Abbott Seiple (Henderson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Nathaniel Ayscue and Nancy Nelford Patterson Ayscue; her husbands, James Elmore Abbott and Eugene Harold Seiple; and her siblings, Lillian Baker, Linwood Ayscue, Sterling Ayscue, Larry Ayscue, Owen Ayscue and Willard "Bo" Ayscue.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Eugene Abbott (Kathy) of Henderson and Durward Thomas Abbott (Donna) of Knightdale; her siblings, Annie Edna Mosley, Esther Perkinson of Henderson, Catherine Ellington of Cary and Wade Ayscue of Henderson; her grandchildren, Leah Abbott, Rachel Etheridge (Mike) and Daniel Abbott; and her great grandchildren, Michael Etheridge and Hannah Etheridge.
