With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Ayscue of Henderson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Monie Lee Pendergrass and Pearl Leigh Dickerson Pendergrass; and her husband Raymond Joseph Ayscue. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Ayscue Barker; her grandsons, Joey Renn and Robert Davis (Britney); and her great grandchildren, Joey Renn Jr., Gage Renn, Austin Davis, Brooklynn Davis, Hayden Davis and Agusta Davis.
