She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Greene Owen and Graham Jackson Owen Sr.; her husband James Elmore Sr.; her son William Bailey Barker Jr.; and her siblings, William Owen Sr., Graham Owen Sr., Christine Ramser, Marion Williamson and Nellie Wilkerson.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Stroud (David Hoke), James M. Elmore Jr. (Connie) and Bobby Elmore; her daughter-in-law Vickie Barker; and her sister Joan Williamson.
