He is survived by: his wife Lois Pegram O'Geary; his children, Howell Alexander O'Geary (Denise) of Rocky Mount, Ricky Lane O'Geary (Nancy), Timothy Wayne O'Geary (Sharon) of Oxford, Gregory Todd O'Geary and Cheryl O'Geary Doby (Jimmy) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Nicholas Alexander O'Geary (Chase), Benjamin Rosser O'Geary (Zoey), Matthew Scott O'Geary (Megan), Shannon Nichole Atherton (Keith), Bradley Alan Ayscue (Cyndi) and Samantha Jo Brooks (Kevin); and his siblings, Helen Rose Edwards (James), James David "Pete" O'Geary (Grace) and Kenneth Harlen "Mann" O'Geary (Lois). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
